Endgame Build Guide: Weapon Master & Sword Master, One Template for 60 and 70

The end of a patch is when skill builds go off the rails most easily — quests are cleared, gear is locked in, and yet half your SP is still sitting idle. This guide distills Weapon Master and Sword Master endgame builds into one lazy-friendly template that works on both the 60 and 70 caps. Follow it and you won't need a single reset before graduation.

Weapon Master: Max the Ridge Guards, Pick Your Finisher

SP priority: Ridge Guards, Extreme Overlord and Weapon Mastery to max — those three are the foundation of both damage and feel. Spend the remainder on either Draw Sword or Gore Cross: farmers take Draw Sword for visibly better room-clearing; training-dummy and PvP players take Gore Cross for a cleaner opener. For TP, boost Ridge Guards and the Flowing Stance line first; the awakening skill only needs one point at the 60 cap — leftover SP on small skills pays better.

Reset water is half price at Kiri's once a day — hoard it. Between a patch's final weeks and the next version, there's almost always a rebalance hiding.

Sword Master: Element Conversion Is the Answer

Sword Master's endgame centers on the Element Conversion trade-off. Monsters at the 70 cap carry element resistances across the board, so we recommend fire as the stable main and ice as a specialty pick for the old Eternal Snowfield maps. On skills, max both tiers of Cloudsplitter and Darkfall where possible; short-sword players can shift spare SP into Rising Dragon. Geared Sword Masters should drop the mobility filler skills — the shorter the rotation, the faster the Abyss clears.

Universal Details: Auto-Fire and Swap Gear

One set of details covers both weapons: set the in-game auto-fire option to normal attacks only to avoid weird skill registration. For swap gear, an Extreme Overlord buff set is still worth building at the 70 cap — cheap to make, honest gains.

A word on the current class rankings: Weapon Master sits firmly at #3, Sword Master at #5 — squarely in "no regrets" territory. Thinking about rerolling? The anniversary half-price class-change ticket is the cheapest entry you'll ever get, and it saves you the reset water too.
